An all purpose soap is a basic vegetable-oil-based soap to cover all surfaces. Soap molecules get under and lift dirt into the soapy solution allowing dirt and debris to be wiped and washed.  Choose unscented and undyed. A good All Purpose soap can be used for windows and floors too.

Green Washing

Words like GREEN or NATURAL do not mean the product is biodegradable, organic, environmentally- safe, healthy and non-toxic. Watch out for highly scented and dyed products claiming to be eco-friendly. Dyes and scents are unnecessary and many are artificial with unknown chemical content. Many commercial companies have adopted the word and the colour green to sell products but that is all they have done. Even naturally scented products can be overly scented and disruptive to individuals with sensitivities.
