Second Harvest - food rescue organization
We donated gift baskets for the online holiday auction at Second Harvest – an organization dedicated to food rescue and stopping food insecurity. They capture food at all stages of the supply chain before it ends up in landfill, redirecting food to people who need it. Last year, they prevented more than 22.3 million pounds of nutritious, unsold food from negatively impacting the environment. Gift Basket for Baby
Eco-conscious products for baby from earth concerns CLEANING ‘s online store. A basket layered with two receiving blankets features an array of baby gentle products like hand, hair & body soap, training toothpaste, body lotion, diaper cream, deep repair cream, baby laundry liquid, baby bottle dish soap, and biodegradable bamboo baby wipes. All products are from eco-friendly manufacturers that choose healthy ingredients like Attitude, Nature Clean, Dr.Bronners, and Duckish.
Additionally – in support of small local businesses, earth concerns CLEANING added a $170 gift certificate to Rainbow Songs, a local Toronto small business providing music lessons and birthday parties for baby & toddler. Rainbow Songs added three CDs of music for baby and toddlers.
